STRAIGHT PUNCH - NIKYU

These techniques can cause injury if done too quickly. Practice each technique slowly.

Figure 1: Attacker throws a right straight punch.

 

Figure 2: Step to the inside of the attacker with your right foot. Cover grab his wrist with both hands.

Figure 3: Grab his wrist in a nikyu grab.

 

 

Figure 4: Turn and raise the wrist to your shoulder so the attackers pinky is up.

Figure 5: Apply nikyu and throw the attacker back.
